Temple Church, London
After reading The Da Vinci Code, visiting Temple Church became a high priority for Holly and me. Unfortunatley it took three attempts to visit spread across two different trips to England to find the place open. It seems the hours the Church is open to the public are limited and erratic and only posted at the beginning of each week. It was definitely worth the wait though. The trip down Fleet Street to get to Temple Church is a really nice walk past the Inns of Court. Also , St. Mary Le Bow Church in Cheapside, one of Sir Christopher Wren's beautiful 17th Century masterpieces, is not too far from here and serves some of the best vegetarian food in London in the Crypt restaurant known as "The Place Below". We had one of our best meals of this trip there.......Diane
