Caerphilly in Wales is a place we've returned to on several trips. It is easy to get to by train from Cardiff, and even fairly
easy to reach on a day trip from London. It is really a beautiful little town which is completely dominated by it's ancient castle.
There is a Tesco grocery store on the main street and the checkers there have a castle view from their checkstands.
